Sergio Ramos has apparently told Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane to opt out of signing Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus.
European champions Madrid have been tipped to join Chelsea in the battle to sign the Juventus defender, who has apparently had a £68m price tag slapped him on by the Italian champions.
Zidane would like to see 70-times capped Bonucci arrive to replace Portugal centre-back Pepe, who is tipped for a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Diario Gol in Spain claims Ramos has made his feelings known on a possible move for the man who could partner him at the heart of the Madrid defence.
It is claimed Ramos is also willing speak to Madird president Florentino Perez to make his feelings known about the prospective move.
Bonucci is said to be open to a move with Juve manager Max Allegri ready to make changes after the 4-1 loss to Madrid in the Champions League final.
