Bordeaux have completed the signing of David Bellion on a four-year deal from Nice.
The 24-year-old former Manchester United player moves for an undisclosed fee - believed to be around 2 million euros - after scoring seven goals for Nice last season.
Bellion started out at Cannes but moved to Sunderland aged only 18, where he made 11 Premiership appearances before catching eye of Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who signed him in a £2 million deal.
The quick forward scored seven goals in 30 matches for Les Girondins last season, having signed for them following an ill-fated 2005/6 campaign at West Ham.
The Frenchman joins Mathieu Chalme as the club's second major new arrival this summer and is a direct replacement for Jean-Claude Darcheville, who moved to Rangers earlier this summer.
