Kallstrom joins Spartak

The two clubs had agreed a deal for the Sweden international earlier in the week, and now the player has completed the deal by passing his medical and signing a three-year contract.

Kallstrom, 29, moves to the Russian capital for a fee of £2.35 million, with as much as £500,000 in extras potentially coming Lyon's way.

Kallstrom was named recently by Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas as one of the club's biggest earners whom he wanted off the wage bill.

Aulas also mentioned club captain Cris, left-back Aly Cissokho and midfielder Michel Bastos, although all three of them remain at the Stade Gerland for the time being at least.
