A Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty levelled the score as PSG took a valuable point against league leaders Lyon.
Lyon led at the break through a well-crafted Clinton N’Jie strike after French starlet Nabil Fekir weaved into the box with great skill.
PSG had the lion’s share of possession in the first half but could not find a way past a tough Lyon side who had not conceded in 10 hours of football.
In the second half, Lyon goalkeeper Anthony Lopes made a number of vital saves to maintain the lead for his side. Lopes saved two headers from Ibrahimovic in a matter of minutes and did well to deny Edinson Cavani in a one-on-one.
However, after Marco Verratti was felled in the box, PSG were awarded a penalty. Ibrahimovic’s first attempt was blocked by Lopes but the referee ordered the kick to be retaken for Samuel Umtiti’s encroachment into the box.
Ibrahimovic’s second effort was emphatic and gave PSG a deserved draw.
KEY MOMENTS
7’ OFFSIDE Ibrahimovic volleys home but it's rightly called offside.

TALKING POINT
The major controversy was PSG’s penalty. There were question marks over whether it should have been given in the first place, as it appeared Marco Verratti dived under Lindsay Rose’s challenge. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s first effort was saved by the excellent Anthony Lopes but referee Clement Turpin ordered a retake after he spotted encroachment from Samuel Umtiti into the box. Ibrahimovic didn’t flinch and calmly scored the retake. The Lyon bench weren’t happy and goalkeeping coach Joel Bats was sent to the stands.
