Marseille go top after St Etienne victory

Marseille beat St Etienne 2-1 at the Stade Velodrome to move two points clear at the top of the table.

Marcelo Bielsa's side leapfrogged Bordeaux, who had earlier beaten Rennes 2-1 at the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

Elsewhere in Ligue 1, Nantes and Lyon played out a 1-1 draw while Lens and Caen produced a goalless stalemate in the other Sunday game.
