PSG bus ‘hit by golf ball’ and other objects

Paris Saint-Germain’s team bus was struck by objects – reportedly including a golf ball – as the players and staff made their way to the match at Marseille.

No injuries have been reported, although a window of the bus was smashed in the attack that took place approximately 800m from Stade Velodrome.

Marseille supporters also threw objects at the police in the build-up to the match, prompting officers to fire tear gas near the stadium.

PSG climbed to the top of Ligue 1 with a 3-2 victory over Marseille, with Jeremy Morel's own goal proving to be the winner.
