Italy goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu is delighted to have put pen to paper on a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain.
“I wanted to continue this great adventure with PSG,” stated the man signed from Palermo in the summer of 2011.
“It is beautiful from a sporting and human point of view.
“We are only at the beginning of something special and we can still win so much together.”
Sirigu, second choice for the Italian national side behind Gigi Buffon, is now tied to the French outfit until June 2018.
The custodian has won the Ligue 1 title on two occasions so far – in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
