The France international has struggled to make an impact on the first-team under Laurent Blanc, starting only 13 league games this season and scoring only once.
Crystal Palace – led by Cabaye’s former manager at Newcastle, Alan Pardew – are reported to be lining up an ambitious move for the midfielder, while Cabaye is also said to have been offered to Liverpool and Tottenham by intermediaries.
What is certain is that the 29-year-old, who excelled in England during his time at Newcastle between 2011 and 2014, is desperate to leave PSG.
"I have done everything to change my situation but it failed,” Cabaye said in L’Equipe. “I'm sure I can't do anything more to change something.
“If I'm staying in Paris, I could do all I want, nothing is going to happen. If I can go back to the Premier League, I hope everybody is going to be intelligent enough to facilitate it.
“But there may be other opportunities."
