Angel Di Maria has moved from Manchester United to Paris St Germain, signing a four-year contract with the French champions.

Di Maria joined United for a club record fee of £59.7 million last summer, but has moved on less than 12 months later for a sum thought to be over £10m less - and possibly as little as £45m.
The Argentine passed his medical on Monday after flying out to Qatar, and spoke to BeIN Sports about his move at the time.
"I am very happy to join Paris Saint-Germain," Di Maria told beIN Sports. "What I know about PSG is that they are a team who have won all possible titles in France last season.
"I also know that I want to overcome the obstacle that is the quarter-finals of the Champions League."

Expectations of the player are sky-high in France, with L'Equipe hailing him as "The Messiah" in a memorable front page image earlier this week.

After being man of the match in the Champions League final as Real Madrid won their 10th European crown in 2014, Di Maria arrived at Old Trafford amid huge hoopla last summer.

And at first he seemed to be set to deliver, with a string of promising performances that justified the club's decision to give him the iconic number seven shirt once worn by the likes of Eric Cantona and George Best.
Thereafter he began to struggle, however, eventually being dropped from the team.
Things off the pitch went sour as well, with the player's family being terrified one day at their Cheshire mansion when a gang of raiders tried to smash in through the french windows.
And while Di Maria publicly promised to knuckle down and turn things around at the club, behind the scenes both he and United were clearly happy to get a move arranged.

With the relaxation of FFP rules, that move turned out to be to PSG where the 27-year-old will attempt to get his career back on track.
OUR VIEW
Seeing a superb player such as Di Maria get progressively more unhappy and dismayed at United was painful at times during the last campaign, so you can only hope that - although we can't help feeling that the whole "messiah" thing in Paris, is way, way overblown. Di Maria is good enough to be a key man in a Champions League-winning outfit, but he's not quite at the level to pull an otherwise also-ran team up to that level.
As for United taking a £15 million loss? Well, it's made to look particularly bad by the huge shift in the pound-to-euro exchange rate from 1.25 to 1.42 in the last 12 months. But it's still a hefty loss.
Then again, given that they were paying Di Maria £200,000 a week to sit on the bench by the end of last season, getting him off the books sooner rather than later is probably a smart move.
