The 24-year-old had a stunning 2014-2015 with Lyon, scoring 27 goals in 31 appearances in Ligue 1, helping the club to a second-placed finish in the process.
His goalscoring form shows no sign of relenting either as he claimed the winning goal in Lyon's 2-1 pre-season friendly win over AC Milan on Saturday.
I have shown that I'm fully committed. It's football that interests me, not money. I hope to have a strong season.
His prowess in front of goal has made him one of the most talked about players in European football, with the British media linking him with moves to both Arsenal and Liverpool.

Lacazette fanned the flames by favouriting a message on Twitter about a potential move to Arsenal but he now says his focus for this season is very much with Lyon.
"I want to show those who think that I have my head elsewhere that I'm still here," he told reporters. "I have already said that I want to continue with Lyon.
"I have shown that I'm fully committed. It's football that interests me, not money. I hope to have a strong season."
As well as having the opportunity to play in the Champions League next season, Lacazette will also get to enjoy Lyon's brand new 59,500 seater Stade des Lumieres.
If Lacazette can continue his form he will also be very confident of claiming a place in the French national squad for Euro 2016, when they host the new-look 24-team tournament.
