Dani Alves to reject Manchester City as PSG call press conference

Full-back Dani Alves is reportedly set to reject Manchester City and sign for PSG instead, with the French side calling a press conference later on Wednesday.
Alves is available on a free transfer after his contract with Italian double winners Juventus was terminated by mutual consent.
It had been expected that he would join former manager Pep Guardiola at City but widespread reports suggest that he has rejected their offer in favour of PSG.
The Parisians will reportedly double City's offer with speculation that Alves will sign a two-year deal that will see him earn around £240,000 a week.
PSG tweeted to confirm they had called a press conference for Wednesday afternoon.
The Brazilian's decision comes as a bitter blow to City, who have failed to conclude any deals for defenders, signing only playmaker Bernardo Silva and goalkeeper Ederson so far this summer.
City released Gael Clichy, Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna at the end of last season so are desperate to recruit full-backs.
Reports have suggested they are close to a deal to Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy and will now step up their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kyle Walker.
