Over the past few years City, along with Chelsea, have become the strongest club in England when it comes to youth development and recruitment.
City regularly dominate their United counterparts at youth level as the club's owners look to try and develop players as well as spend big to ensure the Citizens have the best possible squad.
However according to the Telegraph as part of their plan to wrestle back some control United have managed to prise away Dave Harrison and Lyndon Tomlinson from City, two highly regarded scouts.

The report says that both are currently on gardening leave and will take up their new roles on January 1.
Harrison will be responsible for overseeing the club's recruitment from U23 level downwards, with Tomlnson assisting him.
City's response to losing two of their prized assets has been to tie down more of their staff to bigger and longer contracts.
