Antoine Griezmann’s price tag looks set to grow increasingly expensive in the wake of his goal on Tuesday night which saw Atletico Madrid through to the Champions League final.

With a number of clubs apparently already prepared to pay the £63million reported fee for the 25-year-old, Atletico are now rumoured to be ramping up the price to £79m, according to the Daily Mail.
As the 25-year-old Frenchman’s star rises, both Manchester United and Chelsea are thought to be in the frame to make offers for the midfielder who it is expected will play a key role in Didier Deschamps’ Euro 2016 squad, this summer.
However, it is not known whether Griezmann – who is an ardent admirer of Atletico boss Diego Simeone – would be prepared to leave the Calderon after just two seasons.
With just two games left in their La Liga campaign, Atleti must now turn their attention to edging in front of Barcelona – who they are currently level with on points though separated by a significant goal difference – if they are to take the title.
