Maynard pens Brewers deal

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink signed the 28-year-old shortly after taking charge of the Brewers in November 2014 and although he forced his way into the first team, Maynard was troubled by injury and managed just five starts.

He told the club's official website: "I'm very excited. It was always a dream for me to play in England. We got promoted last year and we can now look forward to playing in League One."

Maynard played for Hasselbaink while he was in charge of Belgian side Royal Antwerp.
