The wait is now over for Los Angeles Galaxy fans desperate to see Steven Gerrard wearing their kit for the first time.

The Liverpool legend was presented to the Major League Soccer club’s fans at half-time during their 4-0 win over Toronto at the weekend and he could make his debut as early as this Saturday.
If that was not exciting enough, the 35-year-old has now finally been photographed wearing the LA Galaxy kit.
Having previously just been seen rather awkwardly holding the shirt, Gerrard has now been snapped posing in a menacing fashion while wearing his number eight shirt.
Fans' comments on the posts were hugely positive, though one came through from a former Liverpool fan, 'paul.soub': "LA better treat him like a king. Was everything to Liverpool's hearts."
The images were posted on the club’s official Instagram page with one fan commenting saying “Finally he’s here!” while another, presumably a Liverpool supporter, saying “no, this looks wrong!”
There is a break from MLS action this weekend but the Galaxy have a scheduled friendly against Mexican side Club America in the International Champions Cup.
The former England captain, who endeared himself to the Galaxy faithful with a speech and 10 crates of beer for the ‘Rio Squad’ supporters group, is expected to play some part in the friendly.
Gerrard has work to do if he is to become well known in Los Angeles, it seems, after Sky Sports posted an amusing video of American fans' being asked if they knew who the former Liverpool skipper was. Unsurprisingly, perhaps, they did not.
