Former England under-21 international David Jones struck twice for NEC Nijmegen in the final 14 minutes to salvage a 2-2 draw at Willem II Tilburg in the Dutch first division on Saturday. Moussa Dembele opened the scoring for Willem II after eight minutes before Frank van Mosselveld doubled the lead
Jones, on loan from Manchester United, pulled one back when he pounced on a rebound with 14 minutes remaining and he then converted a penalty eight minutes later.
Nijmegen rose to fourth in the table with 35 points from 21 matches.
Willem II remained second from bottom on 11 points, six more than RBC Roosendaal, who were beaten 2-0 by Heerenveen after goals from Arnold Bruggink and Petter Hansson.
PSV Eindhoven, in action on Sunday at ADO Den Haag, are level at the top on 48 points with AZ Alkmaar, who walloped Roda JC Kerkrade 4-1 on Friday.
Feyenoord, third on 45 points, travel to Heracles Almelo on Sunday while fifth-placed Ajax Amsterdam host Utrecht.
Sparta Rotterdam beat Twente Enschede 1-0 on Saturday, Jason Oost's second-minute goal clinching their fifth win of theseason.
