Celtic skipper Scott Brown is facing up to three months out with a knee injury.
Ahead of the crucial Europa League clash with Ajax at Parkhead on Thursday night, manager Ronny Deila revealed the Scotland captain could be side-lined for between eight and 12 weeks after damaging his ligaments against Kilmarnock at the weekend.
Midfielders Stefan Johansen and Nir Bitton are suspended, while fellow midfielder Kris Commons is likely to miss out again with a combination of a hamstring injury and illness, although Charlie Mulgrew has recovered from the thigh injury which has kept him out since September.
Provisional squad: Gordon, Lustig, Blackett, Ambrose, Simunovic, Boyata, Tierney, Izaguirre, Mulgrew, Forrest, Allan, Armstrong, Rogic, Commons, Cole, Mackay-Steven, Ciftci, Griffiths, Janko, McGregor, Bailly.
