Nottingham Forest appeal David Vaughan's dismissal against Birmingham

Nottingham Forest have appealed against the red card shown to David Vaughan in Tuesday night's Sky Bet Championship draw against Birmingham.

The midfielder was sent off for a foot-high challenge to the head of Blues striker Clayton Donaldson.

Forest boss Dougie Freedman described Vaughan's dismissal as "harsh" and the Reds have now appealed the decision.
