Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho is out of the Europa League visit of Bordeaux with a hamstring problem.

Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho is out of the Europa League visit of Bordeaux with a hamstring problem.

The Brazil international has not yet been ruled out of Sunday's Premier League visit of Swansea, but will definitely not feature against the French.

Centre-back Martin Skrtel is ill and unlikely to start but could be on the bench, where striker Daniel Sturridge is likely to be as he continues his route back to full fitness.
