Despite increasing speculation linking the Blues with interest in the Colombian, it has also been continually suggested that only a bid at the player's buyout clause would see La Viola enter into negotiations.
President Andrea Della Valle recently made it clear that his preference is for the player to stay, in spite of the insistent links between the player and the Blues.
This is now a position reiterated in England today, through Sky Sports News HQ, who are running the line that Cuadrado will only move to Chelsea if they activate his €35m (£26m) release clause.
It is also suggested by the news outlet that Fiorentina are unwilling to consider the inclusion of Mohamed Salah on loan in the opposite direction, as part of any talks.
Manchester United are suggested today as ready to a €29m (£21m) bid for Cuadrado, with the inclusion of Adnan Januzaj on an 18-month loan.
