Arsenal set to beat Everton to Lucas Perez Martinez signing

Arsenal have reportedly beaten Everton to the signing of Deportivo La Coruna striker Lucas Perez Martinez.

The Telegraph report that the Toffees had already agreed both a £17 million fee with Depor and personal terms with the player but are set to be gazumped by Arsenal.

A delegation from Arsenal are said to have travelled to Spain on Thursday to tie up the formalities of the deal.
