Eddie Howe takes no satisfaction from being one of longest-serving managers

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is the second longest-serving Barclays Premier League manager after Arsene Wenger but the Cherries boss believes it is not good for football.

Howe has been with Bournemouth since 2012 in his second spell as manager of the club but the 38-year-old wishes managers lasted longer in the game.
"I think that is the dream to have longevity in management," he said.
"I don't feel like I have been here a long time, I just feel time goes so quickly and seasons fly by.
"I don't think it is healthy for the profession that I am up (at the top of the list).
"I don't think it is a good thing that managers are changing so quickly and then philosophies change but it seems to be the way football is going."
The Cherries face Arsenal on Sunday aiming to avenge their 2-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium in December but Howe believes managers can develop by watching Wenger, who has been with the club for over 19 years.
"I am full of respect for Arsene," Howe added.
"The fact that he has been able to stay at such a big club under that scrutiny, to withstand that pressure, to keep producing teams and playing good football, it is incredibly difficult.
"That is the challenge for every manager but it seems like it is becoming more difficult as time goes on.
"I think management is getting harder and harder with the microscope really set on people week in, week out, especially at the bigger clubs.
"I think you can learn a lot just analysing what he has done and how he has done it and there are certain principals - he is very strong to his beliefs and how he believes football should be played."
Howe has been linked with big Premier League clubs after taking Bournemouth to the top flight and named as a potential future England manager but the 38-year-old says he has no intention of moving any time soon.
He said: "The key thing for me, if I was offered another job, would be my relationship here and what I'm feeling with this club.
"That's always been my way of working and thinking. If I'm happy and able to express myself here then I'm not the type of person to look over the fence and want to move next door.
"The way I manage is very long term, I am always thinking of the long-term interests of this football club. When you work that way you can't just say I've had a better offer, I'm going to go."
