Leicester agree £16.6m deal for CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa

Premier League champions Leicester City will sign CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa for £16.6 million, according to the player’s agent.

Musa, 23, has bagged 54 goals in 168 games for the Russian outfit following his arrival in 2012.

"I can confirm that everything has been finalised and Musa will be in England for his medical on Wednesday," Tony Harris told BBC Sport.

Leicester are looking to bolster their squad ahead of an unlikely title defence and their maiden Champions League adventure.

CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky has also conceded the Nigerian is on the brink of an exit.

"He'll be leaving on Tuesday," Slutsky told the Russian media, per BBC Sport. "And if you look at the way things are done over there you'll see he is a player just made for English football."
