Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will be sidelined for approximately four weeks with a hamstring injury, according to reports.
The Belgian played in City's 3-1 Premier League win away at Swansea City on Saturday but was unable to finish the match, being replaced by Jesus Navas in the 82nd minute.
De Bruyne went down awkwardly with nine minutes remaining in the match and hobbled off the pitch.
Respected Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur reported on Sunday that De Bruyne underwent a scan on Sunday and would be sidelined for "about four weeks with a hamstring injury".
De Bruyne's expected absence would represent a significant blow for Pep Guardiola's side, who have won all of his 10 matches in charge since he took over in the summer.
De Bruyne has arguably been their best player so far this season, with two goals and four assists already in just six Premier League matches.
The forward missed 12 games with a knee injury last season which kept him out between January 28 and March 31.
