Mesut Ozil misses out for Arsenal with knee injury

Mesut Ozil is missing for Arsenal's visit to Newcastle with a minor knee injury, while Laurent Koscielny celebrates his 150th game for the Gunners.

The German midfielder picked up an injury to his knee in training.

Arsenal have not given a return date for the player but they expect him to recover fairly quickly.

French striker Olivier Giroud dropped to the bench for the game at St James' Park as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott came in, along with Laurent Koscielny, who replaced Calum Chambers.
