Who is the favourite to get the Liverpool gig and who else is in the running? That and more from the Monday papers.

Liverpool will talk with Klopp this week - Liverpool are set to discuss their open managerial position with Jurgen Klopp "in the coming days," according to The Telegraph. Klopp has let it be known that he wants the Reds job and the club think he's a better fit than Carlo Ancelotti, although Liverpool will talk to the Italian. Liverpool are concerned with how their next hire will fit in the club's structure.
Paper Round's view - It's no surprise that Liverpool want Klopp and that Klopp is interested in Liverpool. It will be fascinating to see how the German feels about the Reds' structure, though. He's not a manager who demands he control transfers, but Liverpool's work in the transfer market has been uneven at best and Klopp may want to have some say in who takes the lead in constructing the squad.

Ancelotti flies to England - Klopp is Liverpool's favourite to take over for Brendan Rodgers, but The Mail claim that Ancelotti is in the mix as well. The Italian flew to London on Sunday night and is open to discussing the opening with the Reds. Still, Klopp is in the pole position, although Liverpool's desire to appoint a permanent manager immediately and not a caretaker makes both attractive because neither has a job currently.
Paper Round's view - Ancelotti at Liverpool is still a strange fit because the Italian almost exclusively coaches Champions League teams and the Reds not only aren't in the competition now, they have an uphill fight to get there next season. If Liverpool just want to maximize the talent they already have, though, he's the best man for the job. No manager in the world is as brilliant and flexible to take any group of players and get the best out of them.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho during the press conference

Mourinho tells Chelsea execs what'd make him quit - Jose Mourinho met with Roman Abramovich and the Chelsea executive for hours after the Blues' loss to Southampton, per The Mirror. The group tried to sort out what was wrong with the team and the manager did admit there was one thing that would lead him to quit - if he lost the dressing room. "Go straight to the players. If they tell you they don’t trust me, that is the only thing that can make me resign," Mourinho said.
Paper Round's view - Mourinho isn't the most conciliatory man so to get him to admit that there was anything at all to make him quit. If anything would, losing the dressing room makes sense. He's always taken a lot of pride in his work as a man manager and ability to handle his players so losing them could very well be a last straw for him.

Sean Dyche's Burnley have lost three key players this summer

Sunderland want Dyche - Sunderland need a new manager and The Star claim that they want Sean Dyche to replace the Dutchman. The Black Cats are keen on Dyche and spoke to him about the job when they thought Dick Advocaat wouldn't be back in the summer. Sunderland are also considering Nigel Pearson, but they prefer Dyche, especially since Sam Allardyce and Patrick Vieira aren't interested.
Paper Round's view - Allardyce would be a great hire because he's an expert in keeping teams from relegation. Vieira was always a bit ambitious. Dyche saw Burnley get relegated, but he's still a fine manager and is a decent hire considering the limited options that the Black Cats have.

Celta Vigo's Nolito (L) and John Guidetti v Getafe

Arsenal could go for Nolito - Arsenal are preparing for January and The Mirror understand that they are eyeing Celta Vigo forward Nolito. Arsene Wenger wants to strengthen the team up top and thinks that Nolito would be a fine addition so he could go in with a £14 million bid. Nolito has a buy-out clause in his contract with Celta Vigo and his deal runs out in 2017.
Paper Round's view - If Arsenal meet the buy-out clause, Noltio is theirs. That much is clear. The question is whether Celta Vigo would sell for less, and they might, because if they still have him in the summer then they'll either have to sell him on the cheap or risk him leaving on a free. The Spaniards are in a tough spot and Arsenal, who need forward help, could take advantage.
