Barcelona interested in Mahrez - Barcelona may look to Leicester City to fix their latest problem. The Mail claim that the Catalans are interested in signing Riyad Mahrez as a replacement for Pedro. Barcelona need another winger and Mahrez is in their sights, as are Jesus Navas and Nolito. Mahrez has scored four goals in as many matches this season and just signed a new contract with Leicester last month.
Paper Round's view - Mahrez has been sensational this season and Leicester would be devastated to lose him, but when Barcelona come calling, there's little a club like the Foxes can do. Leicester did get Mahrez on a new deal recently, though, meaning they can set a very high price and that, as well as Barcelona's other winger targets, could keep Leicester from losing him.

Berahino returns to West Brom training - Saido Berahino's strike is over. The Sun understand that the Baggies' striker returned to training, ending six days away from the club. Berahino was upset that West Brom refused to sell him and pledged to never play for chairman Jeremy Peace again. Tony Pulis let him five have five days and is intent on repairing the relationship, but they will still issue him a fine and he is not expected to play on Saturday against Southampton.
Paper Round's view - Berahino was never going to go on strike for any lengthy period of time, but it was important for West Brom to get him back as soon as possible so the relationship wouldn't strain any further. As important was getting him fit again, though. Berahino hasn't played a match in almost a month and needs to get back in shape before he can get back to scoring goals.

More than 20 clubs want Wilson on loan - James Wilson is likely to go on loan and more than 20 clubs have enquired about taking him on loan, according to The Mail. Manchester United's acquisition of Anthony Martial has made Wilson surplus to requirements and t would benefit the 19-year-old to get first team minutes. Derby County lead the way as clubs line up to take him on loan, but it will be a battle to land him with so many other clubs circling.
Paper Round's view - United need to see how ready Martial is. They're not stocked with striker options so while they would prefer that Wilson play every week, likely leading to a loan, they may end up needing him if Martial is going to have some trouble adjusting to the Premier League. If he goes to the Championship, he'll be a huge asset to whichever team lands him, but the Red Devils may not be able to let him go and still maintain a functioning strike force.

Dani Ceballos (Spain)

Arsenal and Liverpool will battle for Ceballos - Dani Ceballos is one of Spain's brightest young talents and he also has left than a year left on his contract. The Mirror say that is set to spar an intense battle between Arsenal and Liverpool to sign the midfielder. Ceballos has starred for Spain's U-19 team, as well as for Real Betis, which has the Gunners and Reds interested. The question is whether the teams will look to get him on a pre-contract in January, or if they will try to sign him at a cut-rate price as Betis try to get some return for him.
Paper Round's view - Ceballos is a terrific player. He's not just a promising youngster - he's proven himself good enough to play in a top league already. It's a shame that Betis let him get to the final year of his contract, but here we are. Both Arsenal and Liverpool would be good landing spots for him, but several clubs in Spain will surely chase him as well and he may prefer to stay in his home country.
