Barcelona have accepted Pedro Rodriguez’s desire to leave the club and will sell to Manchester United, but not before the UEFA Super Cup.

La Blaugrana play Sevilla on August 11 and Marca report Barca will sanction his sale to United after that fixture.
Luis Enrique wanted to keep hold of Pedro but has begrudgingly accepted the forward’s desire for more regular football – but needs the Spain international to bolster his attacking options for the Sevilla tie.
Neymar and Lionel Messi are only just back in training after an extended summer break following their Copa America exertions and Enrique is wary of going into the game against Sevilla short on numbers.
United would prefer Pedro to sign sooner so he can acclimatise to the rigours of English football – particularly as the Premier League season starts on August 8.
A fee of around €30m (£21m) plus add-ons is expected to be needed to get Pedro away from Camp Nou, with Marca reporting the move as a question of ‘when,’ not ‘if.’
OUR VIEW
It seems certain that Pedro will become a United player. He will bring with him a wealth of experience and, given his bit part role at Barcelona last season, also the requisite hunger required to excel. However, the delayed nature of his arrival complicates matters: United will have to manage his acclimatisation to the English game robustly. Ease him into the league and there is little doubt that he will become an integral part of the United team – and one that they have a acquired at a relatively modest fee.
