Ranieri's men won the title as nearest-rivals Spurs were held to a 2-2 draw at Chelsea on Monday night.
And to celebrate in his pre-weekend press conference on Thursday, Ranieri treated the assembled press to Champagne.
"Never could I have imagined this. We work so hard. Everyone does, but only one can win. This year it happened to me!” he beamed.
"It’s my karma. I’ve fought so hard to achieve, so this is special. I want to thank my players, chairman, staff and fans...
"To the fans. They were dreaming. I say dilly-ding, dilly-dong, they woke up and the dream was a reality.
"I am the Thinkerman, not Tinkerman!”
Ranieri was also asked if he considers this year to have been a fairytale - and he replied that his entire career had been one.
"My fairytale began in Cagliari. From non-league and now to win the Premier League's special. More special in Leicester," he said.
Leicester will be special again this weekend: the Italian also confirmed that his compatriot Andrea Bocelli will sing for the crowd at the King Power Stadium before the game this weekend.
"He said he would like to come and I said 'why not?'"
Ranieri was also quizzed on who he might bring in over the summer as he tries to bolster his squad for a Champions League campaign.
"I don’t want big names. I don’t want it in my dressing room," he said.
"My lads are special. Who arrives must have the same spirit.”

One thing to pick him up on, though: Claudio pretty much claimed to have won Serie A. Which he very much did not manage. Perhaps that champagne had started going to his head...
