Tottenham without Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier for Manchester City clash

Tottenham are without both Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier for the visit of Premier League leaders Manchester City at White Hart Lane.

Vincent Janssen has been dropped by Mauricio Pochettino, with the in-form Son Heung-min deployed up front on his own.

But it is the absence of both Dembele and Dier, who at least makes the substitutes' bench, in addition to that of striker Harry Kane, that will be a concern for the Spurs boss.

For City, Pep Guardiola has selected both Fernandinho and Fernando in his midfield with Sergio Aguero leading the line.

Kelechi Iheanacho is confined to the bench with Raheem Sterling, David Silva and Jesus Navas occupying the three berths in behind Aguero.
