Play at Stamford Bridge was halted for nearly ten minutes following a clash of heads between Mason and Chelsea defender Gary Cahill.
The Chelsea man was able to carry on, despite manager Antonio Conte later confirming that he wasn't 100%, but Mason had to be taken off and was immediately taken to hospital.
Manager Marco Silva had no news at the full-time whistle but this evening Hull have released a statement confirming that the midfielder is now in 'a stable condition.
