Alexis Sanchez has given the clearest indication yet that he wants to leave Arsenal, saying he hopes to pursue his "dream" of winning the Champions League and is "waiting for Arsenal’s reply".

The Chilean’s contract expires next summer, with Manchester City and Bayern Munich among those rumoured to be considering bids.
Arsenal’s 20-year stay in the Champions League will end in 2017-18 after they finished fifth in the Premier League to drop into the Europa League.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had previously claimed the 28-year-old was staying after a "positive" text conversation between the pair, but the Chilean’s latest comments cast some doubt on his assertions.

"I want to play the Champions League," Sanchez told Radio Sport Chile, when asked about his future during a trip to his home town of Tocopilla.
"The decision does not depend on me, I have to wait for Arsenal.
"I’ve made my decision, now I wait for Arsenal’s reply. The idea is to play and win the Champions League. I’ve dreamt about it since I was a kid.
"For now I am at Arsenal and I finish my contract in one more year."
