Craig Shakespeare has named Shinji Okazaki ahead of Ahmed Musa in his first Leicester team following the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.
The Italian was axed last week, nine months after winning the Premier League, with his assistant taking the reins for the match against Liverpool. And Shakespeare has made just one change from the starting XI that lost to Sevilla 2-1 in the Champions League.
Liverpool named Emre Can in their XI after Jordan Henderson pulled out with a severely bruised foot, while Lucas Leiva plays at centre back with Dejan Lovren still recovering from a knee problem.
Leicester: Schmeichel, Simpson, Morgan (c), Huth, Fuchs, Drinkwater, Ndidi, Mahrez, Albrighton, Okazaki, Vardy.
Liverpool: Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Lucas, Milner, Can, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Mane, Coutinho, Firmino. Subs: Karius, Moreno, Klavan, Stewart, Alexander-Arnold, Origi, Woodburn.
