Manchester United should be embarrassed to be so far behind Chelsea in the Premier League, according to their former captain Roy Keane.

Jose Mourinho's men are sixth in the division following their 2-0 defeat by Arsenal on Sunday, and are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League by finishing in the top four.
Their best hope is to win the Europa League, starting with victory over Celta Vigo in Thursday’s semi-final second leg, in which they hold a 1-0 advantage from the first match. And Keane firmly believes they should be winning the tournament.
"In terms of getting their hands on the Europa League then there’s no excuses why they can’t do it," Keane told ITV.
The 45-year-old then rejected the claim that winning two trophies – following the League Cup victory over Southampton – would be a good season for United.
"I wouldn’t go that far,” added Keane. “I don’t care. For a club like Man United winning the League Cup and the Europa League with the teams that are in it you’d expect them to do that.
But to be so far behind in the league I think is nothing short of embarrassing with the players they have and the squad and money they’ve spent.
Keane then took aim at Mourinho. "He’s coming out with plenty of excuses over the last few months," added the Republic of Ireland assistant manager.
"This idea that they’re now sixth in the league, I think it’s what, 19 points behind Chelsea. I think the manager and the players should be embarrassed by that."
