Antonio Conte is reportedly frustrated with the Chelsea hierarchy whilst Alvaro Morata has told friends that a deal to Manchester United is done. It's Friday's Paper Round.

Conte frustrated with Chelsea

We start with The Star who report that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is upset with the club's hierarchy because of their pursuit over transfer targets - or lack thereof. The report says that whilst Conte is keen on Tiemoue Bakayoko, he is not impressed with Chelsea going after Romelu Lukaku, Alex Sandro and Willy Caballero. In particular he is annoyed that Chelsea are chasing Lukaku over Andrea Belotti.
Paper Round's view: There is no real indication that Conte would be prepared to walk away from his contract in this report but it will be interesting to see how he deals with the fact that managers have limited power at Chelsea. Something is going to have to give...

Blues eye Boateng

We now move to The Mirror who don't mention anything about Conte being unhappy but do report that he has now made a move to sign Jerome Boateng from Bayern Munich. Conte is reportedly keen on strengthening his defence with the departure of John Terry and possible sale of Nathan Ake, and sees Boateng as one option.
Paper Round's view: Since leaving Manchester City and going to Bayern Munich Boateng has developed into one of the best centre-backs in the world and he would undoubtedly add a lot to the Chelsea defence. However with reports moving from Virgil van Dijk to Leonardo Bonucci and now to Boateng it is interesting that Chelsea don't necessarily appear to be getting their first choice targets.

Morata tells friends a deal is done

In The Express it is reported that Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has told his friends that a deal to Manchester United has been concluded. Morata cut short his honeymoon in order to help get the move done and now the two teams are likely to come to an agreement over a fee.
Paper Round's view: United fans have been burnt in the transfer window before so you could forgive them for not believing anything until the club officially announce it. However every indication seems to be that Morata will join United and he is certainly going to appease the fans who were disappointed in the club's failure to sign Antoine Griezmann.

Spurs want £50m for Walker

According to The Mirror Manchester City have opened talks with Tottenham Hotspur over the transfer of Kyle Walker although the London club will demand £50 million for the full-back. The report adds that it is believed that Kieran Trippier has signed a new five-year contract worth £65,000 in order to become the first choice right-back.
Paper Round's view: The first thing to consider here is how Guardiola is planning to use both Walker and Dani Alves should both reported moves come off. The second is to wonder whether or not Trippier has what it takes to be the first choice full-back at Spurs for the entire season.
