Alexis Sanchez has been targeted to replace Alvaro Morata, West Ham make £31m Batshuayi bid and Reds target Hull full back. It's Friday's Paper Round.

Juventus target Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez is set to be targeted by Juventus, according to the Sun. The report says that as Juventus lost Alvaro Morata to a £24 million Real Madrid buy-back clause, they'll target Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez. Initially being interested in Romelu Lukaku and Edinson Cavani, their price tags have put off the Serie A champions from making a move and prioritising Sanchez as the cheapest option.
Paper Round's view: Arsenal could be in trouble here. Sanchez openly criticised his team-mates' lack of hunger last season, and a summer spent on Copa America duty - where he's helped Chile to the final - will only have increased his value and possibly his desire to leave. Arsenal need to hit the transfer market hard and improve, not just to try and the title, but to keep their standing as an attractor of elite talent.

West Ham make £31 million offer for Michy Batshuayi

West Ham have made an official bid for Michy Batshuayi of Marseille, according to the Guardian. The report says the Hammer have made a bid of £31 million for the striker, which could be resolved by the end of the week. However, Juventus due to being priced out of the market for Romelu Lukaku and Edinson Cavani, could make a late bid for the 22-year-old Belgium international. The report also says that the club have been under pressure to sell the player, as they could be fined by French authorities for other financial matters. Despite this pressure, it appears they could be able to hold out for the best price, giving both Juventus and perhaps Tottenham time to make bids.

Paper Round's view: The Hammers shouldn't want to get ahead of themselves: as with the deal for Lacazette, they could be used to up the price for another bidder. Considering Batshuayi is still in Juventus' price range, they must be very, very careful about counting their chickens before they hatch.

Hull's Andy Robertson targeted by Liverpool

Andy Robertson of Hull could be headhunted by Liverpool, according to the Mirror. The report says the 22-year-old full back could be off to Anfield, as Hull have slapped a £12 million price tag on the Scottish international. It comes as Liverpool failed to convince Leicester to take a £7 million bid for Ben Chilwell, and now have turned their attention to signing Robertson.

Paper Round's view: It's surprising that Leicester didn't take the £7 million offered to them for Ben Chilwell, but it's clear how highly they rated the teenager. Robertson performed quite well last season and deserves the promotion to a better club, and should give Liverpool the competition at full back they need.

Northern Ireland's Michael McGovern could head to Southampton

Northern Ireland keeper Michael McGovern could be Fraser Forster's number two, as Southampton chase his signature according to the Sun. The report says that due to his strong performances at Euro 2016, Southampton have made contact with the free agent and offered him a deal. McGovern is still waiting to decided to head to club as a reserve, or head to the Championship side Rotherham as a number one option.

Paper Round's view: Smart move by Southampton, bring in a talented keeper on the cheap. The secondary keeper role will be important for them, as Fraser Forster had struggled with injury issues last year and they need to be prepared for any reoccurrence.
