Mourinho wants Luiz

We start with an exclusive from The Star who report that David Luiz wants out at Chelsea after his bust-up with Antonio Conte and he could move to Manchester United. Chelsea are keen to make a profit on the defender and would prefer to see him move abroad. However, they will accept him going to United if it's the only option, as they did with Nemanja Matic in the summer.
Paper Round's view: Backing Conte ahead of Luiz would certainly be a big show of faith from the Chelsea board, particularly given the Brazilian's popularity in the dressing room. It's also a pretty clear message not to cross the Italian...

Van Dijk to join Liverpool in January?

Moving to The Mirror who report that Liverpool could go back in for Virgil van Dijk in January with a bid of around £70 million. This comes following quotes from Mauricio Pellegrini admitting the defender could be sold.
Paper Round's view: Despite his integration back into the first team it doesn't feel like it would be a big surprise to see Van Dijk leave the Saints. The money could be used to strengthen the entire squad and Liverpool certainly need him...

Man Utd to offer Mourinho new deal

Sticking with The Mirror but returning to Manchester United and it is reported that Jose Mourinho will be offered a lucrative new contract to persuade him to stay with the club. Mourinho has spoken about his attraction to PSG but United remain confident he will stay for the long term.

Foxes keen on Ben Arfa

Finally in The Mirror, Claude Puel has admitted he may be interested in bringing Hatem Ben Arfa to Leicester City. The pair were together at Nice but Ben Arfa has fallen out of favour at PSG.
Paper Round's view: If Riyad Mahrez decides to move on then Ben Arfa would be the perfect replacement. If he stays then the pair could make an incredible combination.
