Ospina in talks with Fenerbahce

We start with the Mirror who report that Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is in talks with Turkish giants Fenerbahce over a £5 million move. Ospina is reportedly unhappy about his lack of playing time and is hoping he will be allowed to leave in the summer.
Paper Round's view: Ospina has often done well when he has been called upon and he deserves to be given the chance to be a number one next season, whether that is with Arsenal or somewhere else.

Guardiola confirms Aguero and Kompany will stay

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that both Sergio Aguero and Vincent Kompany will be with the club next season. Both have struggled with injuries, while Aguero's form has been inconsistent, and there had been speculation that they could leave. However, Guardiola said that both would be staying put.
Paper Round's view: It's tempting to say Aguero has had a tough season yet he's ended with 33 goals in all competitions. Gabriel Jesus is definitely the future of City but it would be far too risky to allow a player of Aguero's calibre to leave - he could still carry this team to the title. As for Kompany he actually looks like a proper defender, which is more than can be said for some at City...

Koeman says Barkley statement due Monday

Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said that a statement will be issued on Monday about Ross Barkley's future. Koeman said he was unsure what decision Barkley would make with the midfielder having been previously linked to top two Chelsea and Tottenham.
Paper Round's view: This clarification is long overdue. There has to be a decision made over Barkley's future before it gets out of hand. The speculation just isn't healthy.

Mandanda set to return to France

Marseille are negotiating to bring Steve Mandanda back from Crystal Palace over the summer, with the goalkeeper having only signed for the Premier League club last summer. The Mirror report that having paid £1.5 million Palace now want £4 million.
Paper Round's view: This seems like very sensible business, the move just hasn't worked out for Mandanda and it makes sense that he will follow Dimitri Payet back to Marseille.
