Wenger says Sanchez will be at Arsenal next year

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Alexis Sanchez after his winner against Manchester City in the FA Cup and said that he expects the Chilean to stay at the club next season. Wenger went on to say that he was hopeful they would be able to extend his contract.
Paper Round's view: This is great news for Arsenal fans. The Gunners do not need the money they would get by selling Sanchez. It is worth the risk of losing him on a free next summer if they can persuade him to sign a new deal at some stage next season.

Conte demands spending spree

According to The Mirror, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has demanded a transfer spree in the summer despite reaching the FA Cup final on Saturday. Conte has spoken about how the club need to replace players like Branislav Ivanovic, John Obi Mikel and John Terry. The report mentions Romelu Lukaku and Virgil van Dijk as the two primary targets.
Paper Round's view: Chelsea are top of the league and in the final of the FA Cup yet there are obvious weaknesses in this team. Chelsea can't afford to make the same mistake after resting on their laurels following their 2014-15 title win.

Man United to pay Monaco £8.3 million more for Martial

It may have been forgotten with the buzz around Wayne Rooney scoring and the terrible injury suffered by Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but following his goal against Burnley Manchester United have apparently had to pay Monaco £8.3 million more for Anthony Martial. The goal was Martial's 25th since joining from Monaco and that has activated a clause in his contract.
Paper Round's view: Much was made about Martial's fee when he joined but it was quickly rebuked with the fact that a lot of the fee was made up by clauses. Well there's one of those clauses...

Bellew reveals talks with Fury

Tony Bellew has admitted that he has had talks with Tyson Fury's camp after the former heavyweight champion of the world called out Bellew on social media. Bellew said that talks have happened and a fight could occur.
Paper Round's view: Tony Bellew has said he wants one more fight and realistically Wladimir Klitschko or Anthony Joshua could be too much for him. Fury, especially if he fails to get back into shape, could be the perfect final fight for him. As for Fury, surely question marks have to be raised over his suitability to fight?
