Wilshere likely to leave

We start with The Sun, who have an exclusive that as things stand Jack Wilshere is likely to leave Arsenal at the end of the season on a free transfer. The report quotes a source who says that if Wilshere becomes a key fixture of the team then things could change but at the moment Wilshere still expects to leave when his contract expires.
Paper Round's view: It would be great to see Wilshere come back and become a key Arsenal player but sadly it doesn't look likely. He needs a fresh, permanent, start away from the club so he can work on rebuilding his career.

De Bruyne keen for new City deal

Moving to The Telegraph where there are quotes from Kevin De Bruyne, who has said that although there haven't been many conversations about a new contract he would be more than happy to sign one. De Bruyne said he feels he is one of the five captains of the team now and the report says that any new contract would only be to ward off interest from PSG and Real Madrid.
Paper Round's view: De Bruyne has emerged as one of the best players in the Premier League and City need to do whatever they can in order to get him to sign a new contract. If they are going to become a real dominant force in Europe then De Bruyne will be at the heart of it.

Mourinho waits to see if he receives ban

In The Mirror it is reported that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will discover on Monday whether he will be punished for encroaching onto the pitch at Southampton on Saturday. Mourinho was sent to the stands but he also went to the referee's room after the game and it is unclear whether or not he was invited.
Paper Round's view: Banning Mourinho for encroaching onto the pitch would be absolutely ridiculous. Hopefully the logical decision is made.

Bilic under pressure

We end with The Telegraph, who report that Slaven Bilic is under increasing pressure at West Ham. Bilic will reportedly be fired unless the Hammers beat Swansea City next weekend and even then the feeling is that he will not be West Ham manager for much longer.
Paper Round's view: It's tough to know how we judge Bilic. Did he over-achieve with Croatia and Besiktas? Or given Besiktas' league title last year has he actually under-performed? Either way West Ham have been in trouble for over a year now and something has to change.
