FULL-TIME

Manchester United drop their first points of the season as they are held at Stoke. Jose Mourinho will be disappointed with the result, but it could have been worse for the visitors.

90'+1

CHANCE!

United pushing for a late winner as Valencia wins a corner. Jones leaps highest to meet the corner, but Butland gets down to make a crucial save!

90'

Lukaku strikes the ball straight at the wall - disappointing.

There will be three minutes added on at the end of the match.

89'

Mata is clipped by Allen and United have a free-kick in a very dangerous position, around 20 yards out.

87'

Shaqiri delivers the subsequent free-kick into the penalty area, it's nodded on by a United defender and Pogba does well to prevent the corner.

85'

Zouma stays down after a collision with Martial, but he should be OK. The Stoke defender has been hugely impressive this evening and is probably the man of the match.

UNITED SUB

Mkhitaryan is replaced by Jesse Lingard. Can the England international make an impact in the final minutes?

81'

Pogba commits a foul and Stoke have a free-kick on the right channel. Mark Hughes is furious as he feels Pogba should have been booked, but Neil Swarbrick keeps his cards in his pocket.

80'

Into the last 10 minutes and the scores are locked level. The next goal will surely win it.

Maxim Choupo-Moting of Stoke City celebrates scoring his sides second goal
79'

CHANCE!

Lukaku times his run to perfection to meet Martial's fabulous cross, but the Belgian mis-hits and it goes wide of the target. It looks like it came off his ankle.

77'

The lively Shaqiri forces a corner, which he takes himself, but it's hugely disappointing as he sends the ball straight into the side netting.

Jese is the man to make way for Berahino.

74'

Saido Berahino is about to come on for Stoke as Mark Hughes looks to change things in attack.

73'

It's clear Mourinho is not prepared to settle for a point here - and we can look forward to an enthralling final 20 minutes (touch wood).

Rashford and Herrera off, Mata and Martial on.

70'

Juan Mata and Anthony Martial are preparing to come for United as Mourinho steps up his search for a winner.

69'

United hadn't conceded before coming into this game, but they've been really poor defensively this evening. I wouldn't rule Stoke out of winning this game.

67'
66'

CLOSE!

Stoke can only partially clear from the corner and the loose ball falls to Valencia. He dances past a number of Stoke defenders before rifling the ball inches wide of the right post.

65'

Pogba's cross is turned behind by Butland and United have a corner, despite appeals from the home side. They felt the ball was already out of play before Butland touched it.

64'

It's a really poor goal to concede from United's point of view, but once again it's game on!

De Gea is at his best to produce a spectacular reaction save to deny Jese who must have thought he had scored with a first-time flick.

54'

Lovely football from Stoke as Allen plays a weighted pass to Jese, but the Spaniard loses out to Darmian. Shaqiri picks up the loose ball, but over-hits a cross and it goes out for a goal-kick.

52'

A change is required as United simply haven't started in the second period.

51'

He can't be happy with how United have performed thus far...

49'

Lukaku is extremely fortunate not to be booked as he hauls down Allen just as the Welshman was getting away from him.

48'

CHANCE!

Martins Indi rises highest to meet a corner delivery, but he heads it straight at his team mate Jese who can't get out of the way and United hack it clear.

47'

Attempts: Stoke 6-8 Man Utd.

46'

Pogba does well to find a pocket and fire a shot at goal from the edge of the penalty area, but Zouma does well to make the block.

So the teams are level after an entertaining first-half. Stoke had probably the better chances and took a deserved lead through Choupo on the stroke of half-time. United levelled almost immediately however when Pogba's header took an almighty deflection off Rashford and into the net.

HALF-TIME

Stoke are caught napping as a long ball is played behind their defence, and Lukaku is allowed space to fire a shot at goal from a tight angle. However, it's straight at Butland and that will be the last meaningful action of the first-half.

It was a lovely team move from Stoke, but dreadful defending from the visitors.

GOAL! Stoke 1-0 Manchester United (Choupo).

Well, there you have it - United have finally conceded in the Premier League. It's a lovely cross from Diouf which picks out Choupo and he tucks it in at the back post.

42'

More frustration for United as Valencia over-hits his cross from a corner. Deliveries simply need to be better.

40'

Mkhitaryan is allowed to turn into space and he tries to pick out Rashford with a through-ball, but the youngster is beaten to the ball by Zouma. Excellent defending.

37'

Valencia does well to squeeze a cross into the Stoke penalty area, but it's cleared. United are lacking that quality end product at the moment.

36'

Fletcher concedes yet another free-kick, his second or third of the game, and is fortunate not to be booked.

33'

Rashford has been United's stand-out player thus far, and Mourinho will be praying he is fit to continue.

32'
31'

Again, Valencia finds space behind the Stoke defence, but he's unable to find a team mate at the back post with his cross and the ball rolls out for a goal-kick.

29'

Valencia plays a one-two with Lukaku before swinging the ball into the Stoke penalty area. Zouma is there ahead of Rashford to clear, however.

28'

Finally the game is starting to open up once more. Shaqiri is allowed space to shoot, but it's straight into the arms of De Gea.

27'

Rashford tries to place the ball into the far corner, but Butland makes a good save.

26'

Shaqiri, always capable of the spectacular, unloads a left-footed shot from 20 yards and forces De Gea into a low save.

24'

CHANCE!

Rashford, showing all of the attributes of a top-class striker, makes a clever run to meet Bailly's through-ball, he holds off his marker and fires a shot at goal but Butland is down well to make the save..

Eric Bailly of Manchester United chases down Maxim Choupo-Moting of Stoke City
22'

The movement and pace of Jese, playing as a false-nine, should keep the United defence busy this evening.

21'

Stoke's flat five-man defence is proving difficult for United to break down. Mourinho looks absolutely miserable in the dugout.

19'

Lukaku has been left rather isolated thus far, but he's eventually involved now as he receives a pass down the right channel. He cuts the ball back to Pogba whose first-time effort is blocked by Zouma.

17'

OVER!

Choupo spots De Gea off his line and, rather ambitiously, tries to lift the ball over his head from 35 yards. Unsurprisingly, he fails to find the target.

15'

The game started off at a frightening pace, but it's all been a bit, well, boring, in the last few minutes.

13'

Choupo wins the ball on the flank from United's throw-in, but he over-cooks his cross.

12'

The visitors are beginning to control possession and the tempo of the match now.

10'

Frustrated Stoke fans groan as Diouf concedes possession in the middle of the park. Hard to believe the Senegal international played five times for United.

8'

Well, it's certainly been a lively start to the game. Let's hope that continues.

6'

Mourinho is on the touchline barking orders at his team to tighten up.

4'

Jese surges forward on the left but drags a shot inches wide of the post. Stoke are finding space in United's back-line early on.

3'

Opportunities at both ends in the opening stages. Choupa forces a corner for the hosts but the set-piece comes to nothing. Half-hearted appeals from Stoke as Wimmer is brought down inside the area, but Neil Swarbrick waves play on.

Then, at the other end, Zouma makes a crucial tackle to dispossess Lukaku after he was played through by Rashford.

2'

A packed house this evening and the Bet365 Stadium is bouncing. This could be United's toughest test thus far.

KICK-OFF!

Stoke get us underway this evening. Neil Swarbrick is the referee.

17:28

Manchester United have scored 10 goals in their opening three games, and have yet to concede. A tough task for Stoke, but they have already defeated Arsenal at home this season.

17:20

Jose Mourinho admits Stoke are a difficult team to play against (gasp, horror!).

"They are aggressive, they defend with a lot of people, and they are dangerous in set-pieces,” he said.

“It's a stadium that puts a lot of pressure [on] too. So, I think it's going to be difficult again. Hopefully, we can be better than in previous years and win but difficult it is going to be, for sure."

17:15

Manchester United have started the season in perfect form, winning all three of their games, but Mark Hughes doesn't feel they are unbeatable.

"Of all the teams they are clearly at the top of the pile," he said. "Their performances and the way they've gone about their business has been impressive. We had a similar situation last year with Man City, who were not able to sustain it.

"But the make-up of the Man United squad is very strong and they're playing in a way that their fans will take to and enjoy.

"Hopefully there are still things for us to exploit."
