Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez has reportedly moved to reassure midfielder Isco that he still has a future at Santiago Bernabeu.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from the 10-time European champions this summer, with Italian champions Juventus rumoured to be interested in securing his services.
However, several Spanish media outlets claim that Benitez has telephoned the player to promise him he is part of his plans.
According to AS, the former Liverpool, Chelsea, Inter and Napoli boss told Isco that though he will not be a guaranteed starter for the upcoming season, he will get game time.
With Benitez expected to implement his tried and trusted 4-2-3-1 formation at his new club, it is said that Isco could fulfil a number of roles in Los Blancos’ new system.
