Reid happy with Pilgrims

The forward, who joined the Pilgrims in the summer after a successful loan spell from Yeovil, has now scored 13 goals this season after netting a double in Saturday's 3-0 win over Dagenham.

And with the transfer window looming Reid explained how happy he is at Home Park.

"You never know in football," he told the club's official website. "But I can tell you I'll be here for the season for sure, definitely. 100%.

"The manager here has given me - I won't say a new lease of life, because it could have happened elsewhere - but he has probably been the main factor why I have been able to get that consistency.

"He's backed me in times when I wasn't so hot, when no-one's talking about you.

"All of a sudden, people are talking about you. I've got a lot of time for him for doing that. When I first came back to the club 24 months ago, it was a struggle for a lot of the players, myself included. I got a lot of criticism."
