Multiple reports on Friday suggest Tottenham are close to finalising a deal with Ajax for centre-back Davinson Sanchez.

Though reports quoted an initial fee of around £28 million, The Guardian are reporting on Friday that Tottenham have agreed a club record fee of £42m for the 21-year-old, including add-ons.
Sanchez scored six goals in 32 league appearances for Ajax last season and received the club's player of the year award.
Spurs finished second in the league for the second consecutive year last season and some fans have expressed concern over the club's lack of signings during the transfer window.
Having lost England international right-back Kyle Walker to rivals Manchester City, the club have yet to make a signing and defender Danny Rose landed himself in hot water last week after he criticised the club's position in the transfer market.
Tottenham beat Newcastle United 2-0 in their opening league fixture last Sunday and will host champions Chelsea at their temporary home ground Wembley on Saturday.
