Motherwell slipped deeper into relegation trouble with a 2-0 defeat by Hamilton but manager Ian Baraclough warned they became too desperate after losing a second goal at New Douglas Park.

Motherwell hit the woodwork three times and Lee Erwin saw two one-on-ones saved but they looked devoid of ideas and belief after Ali Crawford slammed home Hamilton's second in the 52nd minute.
After Friday night's setback, the Steelmen will need to win their last four games to have any realistic chance of avoiding a play-off and they will need to rediscover their confidence following consecutive away defeats without scoring.
Baraclough said: "It's just about taking care and believing you are going to get the next goal. We still created chances at 2-0 down.
"In the second half I felt our play went too long and too direct. It's not something we are good at. Buying that extra pass in midfield and playing through the thirds, we could have done that better.
"That was a frustration because we are better players than we are giving ourselves a chance to be.
"We were a little bit ragged and desperate, and that wasn't our game plan.
"We could have moved the ball better and brighter and that's something we will work on."
Motherwell play the three teams directly above them at Fir Park and bottom club St Mirren away and Baraclough wants his players believing they can get out of the bottom two.
"We have to pick ourselves up, lick our wounds and come back stronger next week," he said.
"We have Ross County at home, it's a game we are more than capable of winning."
