Following striker Ronaldo's public falling out with Real Madrid fans, AC Milan have declared an interest in the Brazilian. Milan president Adriano Galliani revealed he would join the race to capture the 29-year-old's signature should he leave the Bernabeu in the summer.

Ronaldo criticised his fans on Monday, on the eve of Real's Champions League match with Arsenal, saying he felt unloved and had never felt at home in Madrid, prompting speculation that he may be on his way out at the end of the season.
"Ronaldo is a great player and if he decides to leave Real he will find teams all over the world ready to welcome him," said Galliani. "Even the door at Milan is open."
Should a move go through for Ronaldo, it will be his second stint in the Italian capital, having previously played for Milan's city rivals, Inter.
FREY VIOLA MOVE IN DOUBT
Goalkeeper Sebastien Frey's future is still in doubt after Parma slapped a 5m euro price tag on the Frenchman 's head.
Frey is currently on loan with Fiorentina and his impressive form since his arrival at the Stadio Artemio Franchi has persuaded the Viola to make the switch permanent.
The stopper has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a knee injury but Fiorentina remain keen on capturing his signature.
But Frey's agent says Parma hold the key to any agreement.
“Parma are sticking to the 5m euro transfer fee,” said Vincenzo Morabito. “That is a significant figure in today's market.”
CASSANO SILENCE ON TOTTI
Crocked Roma striker Francesco Totti has revealed that on his release from hospital on Wednesday that he had not received any well wishes from former strike partner Antonio Cassano.
The in-form striker broke his ankle in last weekend's game against Empoli and underwent surgery on Sunday, prompting messages of encouragement from all walks of Italian football.
National team boss Marcelo Lippi, Lazio's Paolo Di Canio and Juventus boss Fabio Capello have all been in contact with the injured striker, but tellingly there has been no contact from Cassano, now with Real Madrid.
“No, I haven't heard from Cassano,” the Roma captain said. “He hasn't phoned me.
“Di Canio? I thank him for his words of encouragement. I'm happy that he said he would miss me in the derby on Sunday.”
The two players forged a great friendship whilst playing for the Giallorossi at the Stadio Olimpico, and Totti could be forgiven for thinking that his friend would have called.
IN BRIEF...
Milan's Brazilian keeper Dida has not fractured his ankle as first thought; it is merely sprained... and Ascoli will have to appear before the Disciplinary Commission for using Marco Giampaolo without a coaching certificate.
