The pair exchanged angry words after Ancelotti accused Seedorf of being "too slow", with the Dutchman responding by telling him to "focus on coaching".
Ancelotti then told Seedorf he would have taken him off if he had any substitutions left. On Wednesday he was involved in a touchline dispute with Brazilian playmaker Kaka during the 1-0 win over Ascoli.
However, the coach tried to play down the latest incident, saying his frustration was with the TV cameras rather than Seedorf.
"I am not angry with what happened, because it is between Seedorf and me. I'm not going to explain it because you'll turn it into a soap opera like the Kaka situation."
Ancelotti has come under increasing pressure after two seasons without silverware. Milan have precious little room for error after starting the season on minus eight points following the Calciopoli match-fixing verdicts.
