Striker Julio Cruz has denied that he wants to leave Internazionale, insisting he would like to end his career at the Giuseppe Meazza.
Speculation has surrounded the Argentina international's future because there are several world-class strikers at the club, including new signing Honduran David Suazo, Argentina's Hernan Crespo, Brazil international Adriano and Sweden hero Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"I have never said that I wanted to leave Inter... every day my name appears in the newspapers and this is not good," Cruz said.
"I haven't had any problems with [coach Roberto] Mancini or any other person at the club. I haven't created and do not want to create problems with anyone.
"Although there are many strikers, I belong to this team and I want to continue to be a player at Inter.
"My aim is to renew my contract. I have already spoken about that with the president [Massimo Moratti] and we will arrange everything shortly.
"I want to finish my career at Inter."
Cruz joined the Nerazzurri from Bologna in 2003.
