The striker is leaving Paris Saint-Germain, but has yet to decide which club he will join this summer, and has hinted that he’d be open to a Rossoneri return.
Joint-CEO Galliani admitted yesterday that the financial aspect could be difficult for the Diavolo, and MilanNews states that any deal would be dependent on Chinese investment.
A consortium is in negotiations to buy the club, having been granted exclusivity, but it’s far from certain that the takeover will get over the line.
It’s thought there are already concrete offers on the table from MLS and China, as well as other teams in Europe, so Milan must act quickly.
Ibrahimovic’s agent, Mino Raiola, will have business with the Rossoneri this summer in any case, as Mario Balotelli’s future is not yet resolved.
The forward wants to stay at San Siro, rather than return to Liverpool, but given he has scored just one Serie A goal in his loan spell, it seems unlikely the Diavolo will sign him outright.
