Empoli defender Daniele Rugani is reportedly a target for Arsenal, but a deal would have to be struck with Juventus too.

Rugani has been one of the revelations of the Serie A season, earning a call-up to Antonio Conte’s Italy squad, and playing 19 times in the League. The 20-year-old is co-owned by Empoli and Juventus, and has been linked with a move to the Bianconeri, but according to Alfredo Pedulla’s website, the Gunners are also interested. The site reports that Rugani has already agreed to move to the Old Lady for around €3m with a contract until 2019, but Arsenal are interested, having followed the defender since last season’s Serie B campaign.
EUROSPORT'S VIEW: You would think Arsenal's capture of Gabriel Paulista would put paid to any pursuit of defenders, but Rugani is clearly one for the future. The fact that he is co-owned by Juventus surely makes it unlikely that Arsenal will nab him from under the Old Lady's nose.
